discuss this exciting new Gateway just for transitioning military and veterans.

All veterans and transitiong military are encouraged to browse the MSCCN Gateway and upload resumes right now!

ensure accurate separation from the military spouse job requisitions and resumes while easing the tracking of both.

MSCCN Announces FEDEX Beta Test for Veterans AND Military Spouses
Mr. Jason Martin

A Message From Deb Kloeppel, President and CEO

Every now again, you come across corporate leaders in HR and recruitment who innately value and honor what the military applicant brings to the corporate table and civilian community. Even more rare is the corporate leader in HR and recruitment who truly holds a passion and respect for the sacrifice and co-service of military spouses, and all they bring to the corporate culture.

Such is the case with Mr. Jason Martin, Mgr of Recruitment, FedEx Corporate Services. MSCCN is proud to announce our beta-test employment partnership with FedEx. During this initial beta-test period, the MSCCN team is focused on assisting military spouses and veterans with job-related training specific to FedEx's recruitment process. The MSCCN team will be working closely with Mr. Jason Martin, Manager of Recruitment, FedEx Corporate Services. Mr. Martin's bio can be found here.

All MSCCN applicants are to follow our precise procedure in order to proceed successfully to FedEx for potential hiring consideration. The process starts with a "FedEx-ready" resume uploaded to the MSCCN, but immediately therafter, you must contact c_brugman@msccn.org to ensure your resume meets the needs of FedDEx. You will not be referred to FedEx positions until your resume is "FedEx ready".

How do you make your resume FedEx-ready? We will refine and post specific guidelines based on FedEx comments as we go further and further into the FedEx Beta Test. It is recommended that initial resumes include keywords that match the position of interest, as well highlighted achievements. Resumes must not exceed two pages in length.

Continue to search the Gateway, as more job requisitions from FedEx will be posted. If you are interested in a job opportunity, email askus@msccn.org to attend a virtual seminar that will include information on resume writing for FedEx jobs and the process to take if you are interested in a position with FedEx.

MSCCN Announces USAA Beta Test for Veterans AND Military Spouses
Mr. John DiPiero

A Message From Deb Kloeppel, President and CEO

MSCCN is very proud to announce our beta-test job placement program with USAA. I spoke with John DiPiero, USAA Military Talent Management, last week and told him of our beta-test job placement program with FedEx. John's reply: "You know Deb, USAA has always been a staunch supporter of military spouses and your beta-test job placement program has great potential to bring to light the many talents military spouses bring to the corporate table."

"I truly valued John's reply because I knew it came from the heart," said Deb Kloeppel. "USAA is OUR military community insurance and banking institution. Other insurance companies and banking institutions may claim to walk-the-walk and talk-the-talk - but have they REALLY stood the watch? USAA has stood the watch in the cloth of our nation since its inception. USAA continues to bring forth loyal and unwavering support of our military family. For that reason alone, USAA and MSCCN belong together as partners.Mr. DiPiero's bio can be viewed here.

USAA and MSCCN beta-test job placement program procedure: MSCCN will post jobs from the USAA website shortly, reminding applicants to always use MSCCN as their source. Other specific procedures are currently under development and will be posted soon.
