  • Who may use MSCCN's service?     Back to Top
MSCCN serves all military spouses from all military services in the area
job placement and applicant tracking. Spouses who are married to active duty
service members, Guard and Reserve, retired, caregivers of war wounded,
or widowed qualify for our non-profit, high touch job placement and applicant
tracking technology at zero cost to the spouse.

War wounded military members qualify through the MSCCN’s Pinnacle
Foundation’s special programs. In unique situations where a military spouse,
a war wounded military member, or a caregiver to war wounded can not fill
an MSCCN’s employer’s job opening, veterans and transitioning military will
    be considered.

Post Your Resume and Search Job Openings!     Back to Top
    It is
very important to post your resume on MSCCN's gateway!
There is a new corporate culture emerging in the recruiter world called
"resume mining". It is the current rage among recruiters because it improves
their ability to find the perfect candidate to fit their job opening!

We're with you EVERY step of the way and KNOW our recruiters by name.
We are able to call these recruiters on your behalf. It's best to post your
resume on the MSCCN Gateway and then let us know what job interests you.
    We
can help network you with their recruiters and help you find a good match!

MSCCN has partnerships with many different types of employers. Some are in highly
specialized fields and require specific qualifications. If you have a licensure in medical,
social services or other fields, please specify that in your resume. Our recruiters can
not consider your application if you do not meet the requirements for the position.

Post your well-developed resume and then view the current opportunities.
Do NOT place your SSN or birth date on your resume.

    What is resume mining?
Resume mining is a technique used by recruiters to search resumes posted on
gateways for a particular skill set.

Middle management and executive positions will often not be posted on public
job boards because corporate recruiters do not want to sort through thousands
of ill-crafted resumes that do not match their job openings.

Corporate recruiters view resumes from this "resume mining" perspective.

If you do not find a job that interests you on our MSCCN Gateway, please
post your resume anyway. Our corporate recruiters are mining MSCCN military
spouse resumes daily for jobs in the middle management to executive levels.

Don't be timid about asking for help with your resume!     Back to Top
Proper resume posting can make the difference between a job or unemployment.
If you do not have a resume, please make an appointment with your local
military installation family center for resume development and career counseling.

Should you not reside near a military installation, please go to our resources
Anne Wight's Guidelines to Job Search and review the resume links in the
"Resume Writing, Interviewing, and Negotiation" section.

Does the job search process seem daunting?     Back to Top

    posted one before.
