Seeking a highly motivated research associate to serve as a content manager
in support of a government Web portal for the wounded warrior community. The
ideal candidate will have an interest and experience in military and veterans'
affairs, demonstrated understanding of online resources, and proven research,
writing and editing skills. This person will also show creative problem solving skills,
strong organizational abilities and a history of meeting deadlines in a fast-paced
environment.

Duties will include:

  • Identifying needs of target audiences and determining appropriate solutions
    to meet such needs.
  • Researching resources, services and other materials appropriate to target
    audiences in a variety of subject matters.
  • Maintaining responsibility for quality review of assigned subject matter areas.
  • Contributing to the development and implementation of web site organization
    and recommending enhancements.
  • Additional duties as assigned in a small-team environment.
Qualifications will include excellent written and verbal communications skills;
demonstrated strength in research, writing and editing techniques; 0-2 years
experience in veterans and/or military affairs (a background in veterans' benefits
would be ideal). A degree in social sciences is preferred but experience may be
substituted for education requirements. Additional qualifications may include experience
in website content development and the use of social media. Veterans of the armed

REGIONAL MARKETING MANAGER

attorneys in 7 offices, is seeking a Regional Marketing Manager for its
Century City, CA office to manage the firm's regional marketing as well as
to make a significant contribution to the firm's national business development
efforts.

The Regional Marketing Manager will partner with attorneys locally and across
the firm to develop and execute targeted marketing and business development
initiatives. The incumbent will work closely with the rest of the firm's Marketing
team to develop customized, region-specific marketing materials; identify
attorney speaking engagements and local client events; coordinate participation
in and logistics of seminars and tradeshows; develop responses to RFPs; identify

Assistant Store Manager - In Training

The Assistant Store Manager in Training position has been created to give an
individual an accelerated and intense training opportunity in operations as well as
exposure to different departments within the store. The ideal candidate will have
2-5 years of previous retail management experience and possess the ability to

management processes at the conclusion of a 6-8 week training program. Focus

Center areas include sales, expense management and achievement of profitability
goals, replenishment and sales floor readiness, store execution of marketing and
visual programs, maintaining customer satisfaction and associate morale and
productivity. Loss Prevention includes working closely with store management to
increase sales associate awareness in safety and shortage by implementing and
maintaining all company loss prevention programs and standards. Loss Prevention
is accountable for inventory shortage reduction, safety related losses, operating
expense, and adding value and profit contribution while enhancing customer service.
The ultimate goal of the program is to develop an associate who is ready to become
an Assistant Store Manager of the Operations, Hardlines, Softlines, Home Improvements,
Auto Center or Loss Prevention departments.

  • Ensure the store is operationally certified and every associate is certified to do
    his/her job.
  • Monitor and proactively address outliers, e.g., customer satisfaction, sales,
    controllable costs, profit, margin, operational processes, and compliance against
    plan and/or established standards.
