Since 9/11, members from all branches of the military, including Guard and
Reserve, have experienced increased hardships because of their patriotism
and support of our country and our freedom. Many of our service members
have deployed three and four times, for 12 to 15 months at a time, leaving
behind their lives, their families, and their friends.

Military spouses supporting these heroes face challenges that most civilians
can't imagine. They become a "single parent" overnight, are often stationed
far from their families, and are faced with the constant worry of knowing
their loved one is in harm's way. Often a military family's finances are
negatively impacted during a deployment due to additional expenses out of
their control or the inability of the military spouse to find employment
in a location far from their network of employers and friends.

The Military Spouse Corporate Career Network (MSCCN) has assisted military
spouses, widows, war wounded, their caregivers, and veterans to overcome
the challenges they face due to unemployment or underemployment. We work
with spouses across the country, offering training opportunities, seminars,
job placement assistance, and support. All of our programs and services are
free to military family members and include:

• High touch job placement and referral assistance through our state-of-
  the-art Talent Management Gateway at www.msccn.org
• Customer service assessment, training, certification, and job referral
  services
• Community Association Management training and certification
• Seminar series presented at military bases across the country including
  Volunteer to Career and Thinking Outside the Box
