Featured CEO - Patrick J. Finneran, Jr.

Pat Finneran A message from Deb Kloeppel:

"After meeting Pat Finneran, my Team and I know that angels really do exist. It isn't often that a man who yields corporate senior executive power funds an idea created by a military spouse. There are five men who helped fund, create, and maintain the MSCCN mission for military spouses: Richard Parr, General Counsel for HCR-ManorCare; Dan Thomas, Board of Directors, Concentra, Inc.; Pat Finneran, formerly of Boeing and currently President and Chief Executive Officer, Sabreliner Corporation; Joe Weiner, President, Kenexa Government Solutions; and Rear Admiral Dan Kloeppel, US Navy (ret). As my Team says, "Powerful men may have funded us, but we created MSCCN and operate it on a daily basis!"

Mr. Finneran began his support for MSCCN while at Boeing and now MSCCN's strong supporters include Norm Bartlett and Don Ceresia, both from Boeing.

Pat Finneran recently retired from the Boeing Company after a distinguished 22 year career in various executive posts. Finneran, who joined what was then McDonnell Douglas in 1987, had led every military aircraft program in St. Louis.

Finneran holds a bachelor's degree from the University of Notre Dame and a master's degree from East Carolina University. He is an honor graduate of the U.S. Marine Corps Basic School, U.S. Marine Corps Amphibious Warfare School, U.S. Air Force Command and Staff College, and a graduate of the National War College. In 2004 he was awarded the Navy League's prestigious Fleet Admiral Chester Nimitz Award for major contributions to America's Maritime Strength & National Security. He is also a recipient of the Distinguished Alumni Award of the Mendoza School of Business at the University of Notre Dame. In April 2009, Pat received an Honorary Doctorate from Notre Dame.
